This work was completed under two contracts, providing Contract Draughting Services to Michael Wyatt Architect Ltd for the production or the construction drawings.
A new 7 story accommodation wing was constructed at the rear of the existing main building. There were new additions and alterations required to the existing restaurant, café and reception areas including installing a new lift and access bridge across to this new accommodation wing. Upgrade alterations were also required to the existing Souvenir Shop and Coffee Bar facilities. The documentation commenced in 2000.
A new Sir Edmond Hillary Wing was constructed, which consisted of a new museum and audio-visual theatre, extension of the coffee shop, souvenir shop and the existing outdoor deck areas. The documentation commenced in 2006.
